Action length question
« on: November 18, 2004, 07:29:32 PM »
Is a 308 Win action length the appropriate for a 6MM Rem?  Would one be better served with the 30-06 length?

The short action will do just fine.  It's what Remington uses..  I've one in the closet right now.  A fine old Rem M722(same as short action M700 in 244(same as the 6mmRem), and it works just fine..  Loves the 75 grain Sierra flat base bullets..  It's a slow twist barrel but I don't care.  It love those HP bullets and they're poison on the coyotes!!!
