Encore Leupold QR

I'm thinking of putting a scope on my encore.
Is the Leupold QR system any good?
What ring height would I need to keep the factory sights?
I'm looking at a VXI 33mm scope.
Thanks for the help.

I have the QR system on my .280 Encore barrel. I use the high rings. I believe that the medium rings would be too low to allow you to cock the hammer. I have not removed the scope on this rifle but I have on a Remington 25-06 and replacing it the zero was only about 1/2" off. Good solid mount.

I also use Leupold QR high rings for my Encore. Medium might work, but I could never get the hammer cocked wearing gloves.

I put a 3200 3-9x40 on mine, and both the low and med fit. The only problem was that the low mounts broke while I was sighting the gun in. The replacements were the med's.
I havent had the opportunity to test how well they return to zero or not
