Now that the "Ban" is over, are high capacity mags going to be produced for civilian use?  If they are already being produced, has the cost reduced to a "sane" level?  Who is the best/cheapest vendor to purchase them from?

Matt, Yes high cap Glock magazines are now affordable and can be purchased from most places that sold non-high cap magazines before the Ban expired.  I recently bought two 40S&W high cap glock mags for $23.00 each (as compared to the insane previous price of $75-90 before the ban expired).  In my opinion tho', in reality (or real life situations) there's really zero need for the average gun owner to must have 3-5 additional cartridges in their glock sidearm.  As for me, the 3 extra rounds can mean the difference between 1st and 2nd place when I shoot on the clock steel action matches.  Those extra rounds can mean the differene between another magazine change or finishing the course without dumping a mag (again).

CDNN has pretty good prices on magazines. The prices everywhere will probably come down even more in a while. Right now the tail end of the buying frenzy is still happening and the new magazines have not been made in enough quantity for them to be plentiful.
