I just came across a bunch of 22 Hi Power ammo and since I can't find an affordable Savage rifle the thought of an Encore barrel sounds promising. What would be the best way to go about it? Rechamber an existing barrel? And if so which one would be best? Who would be the best to do this? Complete custom barrel from scratch and by who? I believe the Hi Power uses .227 size bullets so I don't know if it is enough to matter or not with a .224 size barrel. Or am I wasting my time?
