Just wondering if anyone would be interested in a couple of barrels for a contender in 35 remington and 357 maximum. I have a friend who is from NC but moved to Delaware recently. He has a contender that I want to purchase to make a 22 lr rifle for "my daughter and ME." I tried to start her with a youth 410. Too much bang and clang for an eight year old to start with.
I have no need for the two barrels. Possibly could trade for a 22lr rifle barrel or a 223 pistol barrel. The barrels have been in storage for a long time. They are both in perfect condition. I did not want to post in the classified forum because I have not taken possession of them yet. I will have them a day or two after CHRISTmas if I buy the gun.

Get a length on them, set a decent price and put me down for the .35 Rem.

I had the same problem. I am suprised that the burris rings didn't work. They worked wonderful for me. I used my laser bore sighter to place my inserts and it worked perfect. The only other thing you can do is too send it in and have it checked

I got a little more info. tonight. The 357 maximum is a 10" bull barrel.
The 35 Remington is a super 14" barrel. There may be a 3x fixed Burris scope available also. It is mounted on the 35 remington I think.

I don't know how the post about burris rings got in there. I did not write or send that one.
