I'm brand new to scoped handguns....  Have been to the range a few times in the past 2 weeks tightening things up on the G2 10" .44MAG with 4x Leupold for the deer gun season starter next Monday....  

I notice that when I shoot for awhile at 100 yards and then get up off the bench to go downrange that everythings 'out of focus' for awhile.  I have 20/20 vision and don't have corrective lenses.  

Was just wondering if this is a common thing or If I need to have my eyes checked.  (I ain't getting any younger.)  

I don't have this problem when shooting long guns, only notice it when shooting LER at longer distances....

you are apparently looking at the scope with BOTH eyes. The nearness of the lens could be causing a strain that you'd not notice with a rifle scope.Try blocking one eye when shooting to see if the trouble goes away.

Dropthehammer, this may sound crazy but have you adjusted the focus so that the view is perfectly focused the moment you look through the scope? You ought to try a scope with progressive lenses in your glasses.  Pat
