Greetings everyone,

My first post here.

I've got a question who sells reasonably priced long slides and barrels for the 1911A1. And of course a longer spring to match.

I'd like a 6-7" barrel and slide combo to replace my 5" Norinco 1911A1 Gov't fixtures. I've tried other makes'(Colt, Kimber) parts which fit perfectly without finish work.

Thanks for any input.

Check www.brownells.com It may take a little searching, but they have a good inventory. Clark Custom Guns makes 6" slides and barrels. So does Rock River. I don't recall seeing a 7" slide or barrel.

I just checked Brownells and Clark out.. OUCH!! prices for the barrel and springs was as much as I paid for this pistol brand new 11 years ago.
