Ski, The pitch on the factory ramrod tip is 8-32". One thing you can do, if unable to readily find 8-32 accessories, is to center drill the flat surface of the factory tip with a 5/32" bit and tap with a 10-32" tap (couple of bucks at hardware).
You can also purchase a 8-32 to 10-32 adapter through Cabela's or most well stocked sporting goods. Traditions inc. makes one ( # A1271) for around $2.60/ea.
If all this fails, and you are in a real hurry, take your ramrod down to your local hardware. Unscrew the tip..and find a stiff spring that can be forced onto the end of ramrod about 1".
When you get home, pull the last couple of coils out a little (stretch them) and snip end (tip) with wire snip, on angle, to make end of wire pointed. In a pinch, can use this spring for a patch retrieval in the field.
