Do yourself and the scope a favor and get either a standard or Ultra H&R scope rail. Thet are the best for the gun and application and much more adaptable than the Weaver rail. You can order it direct from H&R over the phone with a credit card and they will ship it right out, screws and all....<><....

(if you need one in a hurry you can scavage one of another of your H&R's, they all fit. If you don't want to order from H&R perhaps post a WTB in the H&R calssifieds, perhaps some has an extra one he can part with.)

Hey BIG BUCK,
Do your self a favor, when you order the Scope Rail from H&R, order the Hammer Extension also.  When I ordered both last year, they cost $17.00.  Well worth it.

I second the hammer extension with the scope rail...A worthwhile investment.

I agree with the H&R mount. I tried the weaver mount and with only the 2 slots on it I was not able to get the scope in the right place. the multiple slots on the H&R mount easily solved the problem.

H&R has a great coustomer service department. They will help you get that mount for you Huntsman muzzleloader. Its a good investment and you will be getting the right base mount that will fit your gun.
