Hello All.
Just bought a new stainless Handi 243. Need advise on which cope ring
do you used on your Handi. Thanks.

I use Burris Signature Zee rings exclusively!! In medium or high, depending on the scope. Clearing the hammer with the power ring is usually the location of interference and just depends on the scope. I like the scope as low as possible.

I agree with Quickdtoo I also have been using burris zee rings.They just look right on a handi the contours sort of match the top of the reciever and barrel.I have also had great success with the old school weaver rings ,and the newer 4x4 rings.The weaver rings will put a slight dent in scopes where they clamp,but this won't be a problem unless you ever remove the scope to mount it on another rifle.Both are great scope rings and will do the job.

The nice thing about the signature rings is they NEVER leaver ring marks, they hold the scope extremely secure and you have the option of using the offset inserts to allow the scope reticle to be mechanically centered and bore sighted without ever touching the turret adjustments. I just mounted a Tasco TS624 on my .204 Ruger handi with sig zee rings, to get the scope bore sighted, I had to use all but a few clicks of the vertical adjustment to get centered, installed the 10 offset insert and it was right on. Without the sig zees, I would have had to shim the base to take care of the problem. They truely are great! I only buy em when they're on sale cuz they normally sell for $29-$35. Midway or Midsouth usually has em on sale several times a year. Theoutdoorsuperstore.com also has em for ~$28 regular price.

I would've, but Burris doesn't make 30mm medium sig zees, just high and extra high. With the high combed Monte Carlo stock it works fine. Mediums would have been a better choice, though, if they were available. The scope is too nice to chance messing it up with regular rings, they don't make em anymore.
