Who uses what? Scope, dot, iron sights, or peep!

Just curious what the numbers are for people using sights, versus scopes and dots. I use a Williams peep with the stock front fiber optic.

Bushnell Banner 3-9x40 scope mounted on Millett High Rings...In all actuality I have never moved the scope from its 3x setting.  Maybe a fixed 2.5x scope would have been better.

I answered the question scope but actually I use both. I have see thru scope mounts with a 3x9-32 scope. The sights are dead on at 50 and the scope it 1.5 inchs high at 100.

I got my new Sidekick and never even fired it using open sights. I had a 4x BSA laying around without a home,,,and I was determined about keeping a "low budget" good shooting gun. So after a rail and hammer extension from H&R and a set of high Weaver rings,,I sighted in at 75 yds. and am totally confident in my inexpensive set-up.
Using two 50gr. pellets of 777 and 295gr. PB or 240gr. xtp sabots....the gun will put bullets in a 3 inch shoot n see target....off a bench.  So I got to do my part in the field.

Hello, Raynor! Which Williams peep/receiiver sight are you using?
I see a model WGRS-HR in the Brownells cat. It says that drill & tap is required. Would the scope mount holes work?
Or, are you using a FoolProof type? What model #?

I use a BSA red dot scope on my Huntsman muzzleloader with 100 grains of pyrodex pellets and a 240 grain XTP mag sabot. I found this is a great load and is a quick handling combination for spot and stock of mule deer in the area I hunt.

I have a 2-7 Leupold using Burris quick detachable Zee rings.  I like to get the optics off a ML for cleaning if possible.  G

Bushnell Banner DD 1.5x4.5x32 wide angle on Burris med rings, Am thinking about trying some Burris high rings for sight clearance.
