was looking around the net and found an ALF (Automatic Lube Feed) for the 450/4500. You can see several pictures at:
http://www.castingstuff.com/cabinetree_loading_products.htm go just over 1/2 way down. If you use hard lube and a heater be sure to ask for the stronger spring. I mounted the ALF on top of the header--they say to mount it below the heater--I tried that and it didn't seem to work--lube didn't get hot enough. I think the threaded rod draws heat away from the lube in the cylinder part.
In operation you turn the top till the spring starts to compress and then turn it two more times. You can lube 15-20 bullets before having to do this again; this depends on the diameter of bullets and size of lube groove. I didn't notice any lube leaking out of the machine nor getting under the bullet. It speeds the process--what you have to decide is the cost of this worth the speed?
I did notice that on my 4500 the handle will hit the threaded rod at full top extension. I put a 1/4 nut at the bottom of the "U" bracket at the bottom and this reduced the throw enough to keep the handle from hitting. Other than that it worked quite nicely.
