my son useing my Knight Rifle shot a small spike horn yesterday.the gun was loaded with a max load of 2f 777 and a 250grSST.the exit hole looks good showing the bullet expanded like it should.from the looks of the exit hole you would think it was shot with a Barnes Expander MZ bullet.once we skin the deer i will know more.hope to post a picture of the buck soon and maybe a picture of the exit hole on the hide

Congrats to your son Jeff!

I am a fair weather hunter this morning since it's raining outside, I will get out this afternoon raining or not. All the snow is melting away and it's a muddy mess. We still have around 350 acres of corn in and the big boys are not coming out to play until after dark. With the weather we are having, I don't know if the corn will be out by our muzzle loader season. Should make for some big ones next year.
