Have you gone with aftermarket barrels for your Glock?  Why would you do this . . . what do you gain besides perhaps caliber changes?

I bought a 9mm barrel for my Glock 23 so I could shoot cheaper 9mm ammo.  Another reason is you could shoot lead bullets.

I bought conversion barrels from Lonewolf to convert my 22 & 23 to 9mm
and 357Sig,so far they have performed flawlessly.

Glock bbl do not fully support the chamber, for reloaders this is hell, it means bulged cases that do not resize well, and the possibility of ruptured cases or problems feeding reloads, the aftermarket bbls offer a fully supported chamber, no bulges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the 40 cal in G22 and the 10mm in G20. with the G22 I have an aftermarket barrel in 357 and a aftermarket slide and barrel in 22 LR and also another 40 cal barrel made by Bar-Sto so I can shoot lead. :D

Lonewolf has barrels from several mfgs. I have one of their Federal barrels in .357 Sig on my G27, shoots like a champ and is stainless steel to boot. :wink: Looking to try one of the 400 CorBon bbls on my G36 as soon as they list one for it. :eek:

I have a G23 with the finger grooves in the grip and an accessory rail, and the older G22 without these features.  I am going to convert one of them to .357 SIG and need need a clarification.  I have been told that it is no problem to rebarrel the G23 to .357 SIG because it has the newer, stronger frame as evidenced by the finger grooves and the accessory rail.  
 
I have also been told that my older first generation G22, not having the modified/fortified frame, is not a good candidate for the conversion.   My preference is to convert the G22, which will have a higher velocity potential due to it's longer barrel.  
 
What say y'all?

I'd personally recommend giving Glock a call @770-432-1202 and ask for Fred @ x-248. Have your serial number(s) handy, he can tell you which can and can't take the .357 Sig barrels. Sorry for taking so long to respond to your ?. :oops:
