Silver Buck tooth bvr kidnaps NEWT

:-D  Heard thru the rumor mill that a North Carolina silver bvr got a hold of NEWT and  hasnt been seen for awhile.  I feared tis da last we see of Newt, sniff, sniff.   If only he would have paid attention to the four legged bvr  ooohhhh its going to be quiet up at Kinross this yr , shucks!  :cry:   :cry:

I am back ! BUT not for long.I am load'n the truck up now.I am gona help out the Maryland Trappers at there booth at the WATERMANS CONVENTION this weekend in Ocean City MD. Then head back down to NC. The last trip I did'nt even set a trap!!!!!Bitch Ice in the south.BUT next week it's suppose to be in the 60's.I did'nt waist the trip tho.I turned a Bulk Barn (for drying tobacco) into a --A #1-- skinnen and drying barn.

:eek: Lordy lordy, praise the lord you have come back to us!  LOL     . Well those ole tobaccy drying barns can work good for drying fur but i sure hope you have a spot thats you can heat while skinning.  Cold hands are for the birds.  Ive skinned with skinning gloves with jersey gloves over them.  To let you know how cold it was i was pulling hides off rats and mink and by time i got back to them to flesh and put on stretchers the hides were froze.  SHEESH.  I lite a propane heater and pointed at , bench so i could thaw em and flesh and stretch.   NO FUN.

HEAT---- why I got a BIG air tight stove in the barn.And they were built WITH insalation.Plus the barns were also built air tight so they could control the drying of the tobacco crop.I thought ahead and put the wood stove on the back wall. My work area up front by the doors,this way I could open them to cool off.FIRST CLASS.Now come this summer I got the BIG squirrel cage fan that was part of the heating-drying unit of the barn.MAN this thing will blow-- the stink off a skunk--the rings off a coons tail-- the howl back into a wolfs lungs.
 I got a deal for you RdFx ! I will trap and you --TRY-- to keep up with me ,skin'n , flesh'n and strech'n then we'll split the fur check.

Sounds like you got the shed handled.  When i skin , flesh, stretch all i do is slow cooker and sometimes fried tators and slow cooker and fried tators.  Sometimes i throw in something green in the slow cooker like cabbage.  Hey maybe we could get Buzz to come and cook
