With the interest on bbl quality from t/c to custom I thought it might be of interest to show the accurcy of my new t/c custom shop bbl . . I decieded on the 140 nosler Bt and I use H-4895 for other calibers so I loaded 29 and 30 gr and this is a three shot grp. at 100 yds . its a 22'' bull from the T/C custom shop. I was very happy to see this grp after hearing so many stories of inaccurate bbls.I guess there is still no guarentees there will always be some bbls that just won't shoot , but I was very happy with this bbl not only in the grp. but also the finish and crown .thanks to all for the suggestions and help on different bbl styles

thanks Long , it looks like a real good shooter , now if I can just settle on a good deer bullet for brush-I was checking out prices- nosler 140 gr partition 21.00 box of 50 and hornaday 139gr. spire pt 13.00 box of 100 what a difference but I would spend it if it ment a better kill and performance. do you guys think the partitions are that good ?? I never shot them to compare.

Keep working on it and might be able get rid of the nasty flinch you have...

Greqat group! Have you tried a factory ammo yet?

hey double D- no I haven't tried any factory ammo, i believe its really limited in bullet choice and I just reload for anything i have I kind of enjoy working up loads , I bet i haven't bought a factory round in 25 years or more .

If I get a new to me caliber in the house, especially one like the Waters, I buy two or three boxes of factory ammo to break the gun in, adjust sights and get brass.

Calibers I worked with in the past I just buy new brass and start with loads I have previously established as good.

I am collecting things right now to build a 7-30 Waters on a Small Martini Action.
