When you buy a new muzzleloader barrel to add to your encore, do they come with the forend or do you have to buy that seperate??

ok another newbie here.......how much does that forend cost, and is it necessary to buy one??

If I want to change the encore from lets say a 25-06 to a Muzzle loader, and then back again, would I need a different forearm each time I change the "type" of gun.......and would I need a different forarm if I went from say a 25-06 to a ..............300 mag?? (I am just using random calibers, but I am thinking about getting the muzzle loader and 25-06 for an encore  )

Either way, what else is necessary to buy when you want to change the barrels out??!!

TIA

Most of the time they are sold seperate, Bullberry is sell a few Factory muzzleloader barrels for the Encore right now "With"  a Forearm For a pretty good price.http://www.bullberry.com/esale.html
The Muzzleloader forearms will only fit the muzzleloader barrel, and as far as the rifle barrel forearms go, as long as you stay with the same barrel contour, one forearm will fit all.

what is "barrel contour"?? Does that mean the same barrel width like .920, etc?? Meaning dont jump from a heavy barrel to a sporter barrel, etc??

TIA!! :D

Hi,

I have a 209X45 G2 Contender.  When I bought my 45-70 barrel, the 209X45 forend fit the 45-70 barrel.  I only needed longer screws.  Good luck.
