Wife got a real cool gift from her pop...A little Colt Frontier Scout 22...but not knowing colts, its a nice little gun...the action alone shows me though why the rugers are so much more sturdy...but what a nice 22...four clicks, half cock...I like it...and my 5 month daughter will too in a few years... :cb1:

Yes she will!  That's one slick little .22.  I owned one a few years ago but got sentimental and let a friend buy it off me.  I will own another soon!  Old model Bearcats and Colt Scouts, don't get much better to teach the kids on or carry light on your hip in the woods.  44 Man

I have one too, with real stag grips and engraved.   It was the gun that got me interested in Single Actions.

One thing I have found, if you shoot it a lot, use standard velocity .22 LR mostly.    I found if I shot a lot of high velocity ammo, I would get a malfunction occasionally.  The dog or something on the hamer would go and I'd have to have a gunsmith fix it.

Its a great gun, and after I started to use only Standard velocity ammo, all the problems went away.  I did get a Ruger Single Six also because I wanted another rimfire single action to shoot the Shtuff out of without worring about hurting it.

I've shot one for about 40 years, usually with a Bushnell Phantom 1.3x scope on it. A lot of squirrels have been taken with it.

It has a light, crisp, smooth trigger on it.
