Finally a good usage for the old Memorial Auditorium...

Check out this article...It's about time something positive happens in the Buffalo area:

Good for you guys. As the article said they opened one in Auburn, N.Y. this summer. It pretty nice. We also have a Gander Mountain in Cicero, N.Y. Their in some heavy competition not only with each other but Dick's and Sports Authority as well!

Bring on the competition...Could only be good for the prices...I'm a little afraid what it might do to the little guy though.

BASS PRO IN BUFFALO

I personally think it's going to flop. There's no place to park or put all those boats they have outside. But, the state GAVE them $67 million to come here.My taxes are going up,sales tax is going to be 9.25% in Erie co and WE GAVE away $67 million to have them come to Buffalo and open in a neglected building with no parking in a city that no one will go to after dark.Well, good luck because I think they will need it.Buffalo died because of bad polititians and high taxes. This is not going to solve the woe's of this area.JUst my opinion.

At least Buffalo snatched $67million that  probrably would have been wasted in New York City anyway. :-D

Then comes Joel Giambra and his 1% sales tax increase. It might do the county some good after he pays the state back the $67 mil.

All kidding aside I hope it does work out for the city. It needs some type of draw. Hopefully they'll do it up right and draw in people who would otherwise just bypass Buffalo.
