CVA Round - what height front sight with Williams WGRS?
« on: November 30, 2004, 07:13:08 AM »
I'm not too sure here, but I do believe the Williams WGRS Peep Sight for CVA round barrel/receiver muzzleloaders will work with the Kodiak 209 magnum. My question is, if I buy a replacement for the front fiber optic sight, which height should I buy? That front ramp looks fairly high as is. I bet that buying the same size sight as the one on there would work. Does anyone know what height the existing front sight is on a CVA Kodiak?

Joe, I don't know if this will help or not, but I'll throw it out just in case it might. I have a CVA Staghorn, used the WGRS rear sight with a TC fiber optic front sight.`

quickdtoo, I think that the sight arrangement is the same or similar on the Staghorn. That is useful info. Thanks
