The 20 Ga tracker scores
« on: November 30, 2004, 09:00:09 AM »
I went out before work this morning I was hunting at ANMCC ( Alternate National Military Command Center) and i killed a nice 4 pointer. I hunted the ridges until about 0800 then I walked down into a small valley with a creek bed running through it as I got down into the bottom I noticed some movement off to my right I glassed the area and saw three deer two does and a buck they were about 60 yrds away from me so I picked out the buck and put a remington Buck Hammer slug right behind his shoulder.  He ran about 40 yrds and dropped.   I got him hanging behind the comm shack until I get off work this afternoon.  Then its going to the processor  to get butchered.  Man I love this little 20 ga.

Good job Dave. That's my kind of hunting. I don't have the patiece to sit in a stand for long. When are we going to shoot some sea ducks?

I wanted to do that last year and was told that they could not accept any more donations in my area. We've got tons of little does around here. I have'nt taken one yet this year but will probably get a doe next week.
