Welcome to GBO!
Let's see, where to start...may be easier to list who doesn't make rifles in 17Mach2!!...I know Marlin, Savage, NEF, CZ and Cooper have rifles in owner's hands right now and just about every firearms mfr has plans for them incuding the 17Mach2 in their line up. There is also a conversion barrel kit for the Ruger 10/22 by Eabco.

Just about all the major rifle manufacturers either already have rifles made in 17HM2 or they're on the way.
I know Ruger was going to make a 17HM2 pistol, but I'm not sure if it's actually on the market yet. There's probably others making pistols too, but someone else will have to help you there, as I haven't really kept up with what's going on with the pistols.

None of the Local stores around me have had anything in
that caliber yet. I have as yet to see a box of cartridges
in any stores yet either. The .17 (SHORT) did
not get the marketing BLITZ that the .17 HMR did.
I have concerns that it may not last long for that reason.

NEFs are in the racks here as well as the hornady ammo, but no CCI yet. Am waiting for Eley ammo from Midway. Lots of 17M2 owners at RFC, they even have their own forum, now.

At the gunshop I visit here in KY, I've already seen and handled a Marlin, Savage, CZ, and NEF in 17M2, and most of them have been availble there for several weeks now. They've had Hornady and CCI 17M2 ammo for about 2 months or maybe more.

I just got a Kimber Classic Varmint in 17 mach 2
. Haven't got to shoot it yet but it looks real nice. Had it ordered since June. I will have to wait for some decent weather to try it out and that could be awhile as I am near Buffalo .............
