Can I drill out the nipple on my TC Scout to improve it.  This is not a traditional type nipple & am not sure I can find a new one as the scout is no longer made & mine has a little buildup at the already very small orifice?  Thanks

I have a nipple from the Scout that I used to own. I will check the one I have and see what drilling would do to the nipple. Answer tomorrow.

buzzy:

DON'T DO IT!
Don't screw-up a good gun or put yourself in danger...it isn't worth it.

The TC Scout "nipple-plugs" are still around.  I bought a couple last year...I believe from Wholesale Hunter.

I'll check around and holler back.

If you are talking about using a drill, turned in your fingers, to remove the carbon build up, then ok.  If you are talking about increasing the size of the vent hole, absolutely not.  "Danger, Will Robinson, danger!"
