For "sight-in" this year I took 2 shots at 75 yards, they touched. Good enough for me.
Mine is the older model with the 24" barrel, I also had to convert it to the 209 primers. I tried 200gr in both 44 & 45 calibers. 240gr in the xtp & some other brand (can't remenber the brand). Powder's were pyrodex & clean shot using 90 to 110 grains. The gun was also cleaned every 3 shots. Once I went to the 300's life has been good. The only thing I have done since is went to triple seven :grin: , great stuff.
I will continue to use a heavy bullet if I have to in order to get the accuracy for a clean kill. I also limit my shots to 100 yards maximum.
