? about additional barrels
« on: December 02, 2004, 07:08:17 AM »
I am thinking of buying a 22 Hornet, Most likely the ultra lite. My question is can all of the rifle barrels be added to this frame or would I be limited to certain cartridges. If so would this change if I went with the regular Handi-rifle?

 Thanks Matt

MH Wash,

I am using a SL 20" .22 Hornet barrel right now that is shooting very good.  I bought the barrel used, but I have it on a SB2 receiver.  If I'm not mistaken, any new rifle will be on a SB2 receiver and can have any barrel (with a few exceptions, like 10 gauge) added.

I believe the rimfires are another exception that you can't use.

Don’t be sorry Paul, I was just making sure MH WASH got all the info and didn’t plan on adding something later that he (she) couldn’t do.   We all try to cover each others rears here if we can.

You'd probably all be nicer to me if you knew I helped Algore invent the internet that makes this whole site possible!!! (I really did most of it myself, he didn't help much, he was busy with the producer of "Love Story" most of the time).  Imagine, me being able to do all that and still not being able to post a picture!!!....<><.... 8)

One was expensive and one was fun, but I can't remember which was which!!!

Lets see, This is my Rifle, this is my gun. this is for fighting, this is for fun..

no thats not it either...

how about a little help here...I think I'm lost and the birds have eaten my trail of bread crumbs. I'm to old to learn how to use a GPS and the young guys laugh at my compass (but they don't know how to use it, heck most of them don't even know how to add numbers in there head or tell time on anything but a digital watch, most don't know what time 1800 hours is either!!!) anyway, I digress, I'm lost and I may never find my way back!! But then again I'm a holic of some sort, (I remember that much at least) so I'll just put a little more of this amber liquid around my ice cubes and then take a nice hot shower and hop into the rack....is that Taps I hear blowing somewhere off in the distance?...Carry on...
