My local gun shop has an Interarms Virginian Silhouette 44mag w/10.5" ported barrel.  Stainless steel finish, no scratches.  It also has a $150 Leupold scope.  The cylinder is tight in both hammer cocked and dropped positions.

The shop is asking
$329
+6% tax
+background check cost
+5% credit card fee   (I'll be using my card, saving cash for CHRISTmas).
----------------------------
approx  $378

sound like a good deal?

He also has a blued Taurus Raging Bull 6" for $399 too..    thought about it, but pushes the price range a lil too high for me.

I'm not really good on gun values but at that price I'd probably cream my jeans just looking at it in the case!

it looks alot like a Freedom Arms revolver, but with a fluted cylinder.

this Adobe PDF file has a couple pics of the shooter Dragoon model looks like.   But the Silhouette has oversized pachmyr grips.  The one that shop has is missing it's sites but has the Leupold scope that is linked to at the bottom.

Scope $285:

if I get it, I plan on replacing the pachmyr grips with some custom made out of purple heart wood(one of the hardest woods, is actually a deep purple in color).

what the wood looks like:
