Hi everyone. I posted this on the handi rifle forum first, I didn't know about this forum. I built my own 50-90 starting with a model 088. I posted 2 pic's in the gallery. Please check it out and give me some feedback.

Dear Two Bellies:
Gee, that looks great! Very interesting also. Can you share any details with us? Info on woodwork, trim, chambering problems, and so forth?
I saw your post because of mention on another topic, it was worth the follow up!         Woodbutcher

Hi WB, For the stocks, I ordered a blank from Calico in Calif. I used an old single shot stock for a pattern. Had to adjust the lop to fit me and the drop at the comb and butt. I fitted a schuetzen buttplate to it that I ordered from Dixie Gun Works. Had to finish that myself, it is sold as a rough cast,(solid brass). As for the chambering, it was done by Lee Shaver. He does a lot of BPCR rifles. The barrel was a blank and I had to turn it on a lathe at work on lunch and breaks. I wanted to taper the barrel, but we didn't have a taper bar for the lathe,so it ended up stepped in front of the forearm. I cut out the star inlays from sheet brass and it has a bunch of layers of tru-oil. I still have to make the sights for it and an ejector, then buy more brass and dies.
