New England Grand Slam

I finally did it.  Today I completed a New England Grand Slam.  A New England Grand Slam is when you get a turkey, a black bear and a buck in any New England state all in the same year.  I have had 2/3 of one several times and this year I finally got to complete it.

18LB tom in Massachusetts 10/25/04
125LB bear in Vermont 11/17/04
111LB spike horn buck in Massachusetts 12/3/04

That IS an accomplishment around here. By the areas you were hunting I would think you are in WMass because not many would come from VT to WMass to hunt.

Well, some years back, I did a bear a deer, and a moose in the same year.
Now they've got the turkeys going again, I guess I've got to try harder, need to get all four to be of note now.

Moose would be great to add to the list, just never been lucky enough to draw a permit. I did however go with a couple of guys who got one this fall though.
