Buddy AL Anderson and i are going to a local game ranch to pop a couple cow buffalo today with our .500 linebaughs. Should be fun. Our camp is near there and ill then head out for some black powder hunting should be a nice day.

I read a couple of years back where some guy popped a buffalo with a 300 grain bullet from an FA 454 Casull and the bullet travelled the entire length of the critter from front to back.  The 500 S&W ought to do as well.
