Laminates!

Not sure why and when it started, but I just really like the grey/black laminates. Never really cared for stainless until the grips came along.  They just "fit".

of course, some gotta go on blued guns too.

The top two are both in .45Lc which is far more appealing to me than the .44 mag which the bottom one is chambered for.  I've actully not even had a chance to get any shots through the top two.  Bought the 45 Hunter because I'd hoped they made one yars ago and couldn't pass one up when they made the run for Lipsey's.  Got the Bisley pretty much for the same reason.  (actully bought two   )  The bottom one, I'd gotten years ago because it was a handy short bbled little peice (3" in front of frame) with an awesome trigger.  Breaks cleanly at about 3 lbs.  As far as the feel goes, I prefer the Bisley.

The Hunter comes with the blk laminates.  The other two I got off from ebay.  They can be bought directly from Ruger.  The bottom one simply needed to be re-shaped to fit the round butt - dremel & sandpaper. Got another set to fit a SBH waiting to be mounted on another 45lc BH as soon as I buy a new gripframe.

BlkHawk73 ...

I got my Hunter in .45 lc from Lipsey's about 6 weeks ago. That is one awesome handgun and of course I love that cartridge. To go along with my sixshooters in .45 lc, I bought a Marlin 1894 Cowboy Competition in the same caliber. If you like lever actions, check one of these Marlins out. Everyone wants to shoot this rifle when we go to the range.

Again, those laminates are awesome. I might have to try some on my Vaquero instead of the ivory grips that I presently use.

Yes, those levers are nice.  Eyed them myself once or twice.  My club has a pretty decent and active CASS group so the temptation to get one of those 45 levers is WAY too tempting.  Actually, one in .32 is tempting also.
