Aftermarket Leupold Replacement Optic Glass Question
« on: December 06, 2004, 04:15:06 PM »
I saw someplace where a company replaces the optic sight for Leupold to different types, example hunting crosshairs to mildot, etc.  Does anyone know what company that is.  Thanks

Zachary, not sure really, but did you ever see "Best of the West" and John Burns shooting long distance.  He uses a Kenton Industries modificed target knobs and a recticle that will compensate for windage, somewhat like mildot.  I have a Leupold 6X20 Mark 4 with M1 knobs and I was thinking of setting it up like John Burns.  I know he makes custom rifles and scopes, but I have never knew how to get ahold of him.

I saw him put on a demo at I believe 200 300 400 and 600 yards shooting a ballons and he just dial in every shot with his elevation knobs and compsenate through his reticle and you are talking about fast shooting.  I said to myself "self" you got to have one of thos scopes.  I know he uses Leupold to start out with.

Zachary, I did fine John Burns Best of the West website:http://www.serengetistockworks.com/
He did use a special reticle from Premier Reticles Ltd.  go to the site and read long distance shooting, very interesting.

I'm also getting into F Class shooting this spring and I'm setting up a rifle for the 1000 yard line.
