Glad to hear somebody is getting some action.I've been hunting a bunch and this past Sunday was the first day I saw any deer,instead of where they had been  :lol: .Got out of truck and a doe jumped up 10 feet from me as I walked around truck to get xbow out.Scared theh--l out of me.As I was in stand I saw 2 does,and about 2 hrs. later saw a single doe.Couldn't get a clear shot at any of them.Damn,where is that .300 mag when I need it  :lol: .Oh well,at least I know they are there.On top of all this I checked my feeder up the road and I had let it run out of corn and the deer had chewed the funnel off of it.Guess that will teach me to keep it full.Looked for a way to fix it.notta.so went to Wally World to buy another,they were out.So,I ordered the part from Moultrie.The part cost $2.00 and shipping was $10.The feeder only cost $18 :) .My luck is on a roll....................Rick

What kind of feeder is that ya got ? $18.00 sounds like it would be the style I make from PVS pipe. They seem to work good and no deer or other critter's have chewed up anything on it so far  :)

GaryL,The feeders I have are Moultrie ,called on-demand type.^ 1/2 gal. buckets/w lids.They have a yellow plastic rod about 1 1/2 ft. long that sticks thru hole and funnel in bottom of bucket.When a deer bumps the rod corn drops out or whatever you have in feeder.I bought mine at Wally World for $18 each.They look just like the Moultrie feeders that have the dush/dawn feeders on them or the on-demand revolving attachment.Both of these cost 20 t0 10 bucks more...............Rick

Well Rick what the heck you doing still hunting with that crossbow now that gun season has opened anyway?  :eek:  You ain't trying to keep the game warden from knowing you're hunting over that feeder are ya?  :)  Nah, you wouldn't do that.  :-D  Would you?  :roll:

Now that gun season is over and yea I got meat in the freezer I plan on using the xbow again if I can. Got a few medical issues to deal with my hands and feet are goofy and it could be account of my diabeties or I suppose maybe the heart. I had some test done yesterday and the day before but they did not slap me into the hospital after taking my EKG so I suppose I can count that as a good sign? At least for now as they told me if they saw anything real bad I would have went from the EKG test to the emergency room. Only symtoms are the tingling in my toes and hands and that could be from the diabeties or a pinched nerve in my hand which is giving me the worst problems or maybe medicine problems to who knows? I guess I will not get too upset until they tell me what gives. Oh the fun of getting older and I am only 52.

jh45gun, you too? I have some of those same symptoms and more. Lots of numbness and tingling in hands and arms and right foot. Can't walk 50 yards on level without having to rest for a couple minutes and catch my breath. Last week or so chest pains with it. I've have pains very much like these a few times before and each time they assure me it ain't my heart.

Guess I'm not convinced YET! Got an appointment with the doc again on Dec. 27 to go thru all this again. But this time I'm gonna insist on more testing than before. Last time they sent me in for a CT scan and tread mill. I wasn't even able to last the minimum time on treadmill and they had to help me back to table to lay down as I was pretty near passing out. Often when I stand after sitting the world goes black and if something isn't close to grab it's kinda hard to stay upright.

Sounds like whatever it is we both have some similar symptoms but not all of them. Dang getting old ain't all it's cracked up to be is it?

If they are going to do a other stress test have them do a chemical one a lot easier on you. I failed mine as I am big and they could not get a good reading over a year ago so they gave me a angigram and I passed that with flying colors. No blockages or signs of buildup but then hard to say what is going on now. I guess will have to see what the blood test show ect. Good luck Bill and Keep on it I am better to find out before hand if there is a problem than afterhand. Jim

Well I got the part (funnel) for my feeder today.As I noted eariler it cost $2.00,shipping was $10.WELL,the package it came in was postmarked $0.60.Man was that a rip-off.Guess the other was for handleing :twisted:  :wink: ....Rick
