I was wondering if anyone has a SS and if so are they as good as they say?
Most people say I'm an idiot!

I have the SS 10X and love it. The scope is very clear - very well made. Do not let the name of Tasco bother you. This scope to my understanding is just made for http://www.swfa.com/. I did a lot of contacting with people with this scope and received good reports from them. I think one person has a bad experience with the scope - but that is to be expected. Read the reviews on the site SWAF. Also check out Sniper Country (I think that was the place) - they also gave good reviews. I am sure the Leo scope is better - but you will pay three times the price.
I am using that scope for department use on a 10FP LE1 - also personal use for distance shooting. You have to read up on the Mildot system - if your shooting distance - 500 to 1000 yards - my range is 50 to 300 yards - but the scope works. Money pending - I am purchasing another one for my AR-15. If you go higher power you loose the field of vision at 100 yards. The 10X (unless your a bench rest shoot) works great for everything.
Don't cry because its over - Smile because it happened!
