Workout Routines

What do some of you folks use as a workout routine for your Berettas.  I shoot a Model 70S in 380.  Usually I just go out and burn up a couple of boxes of ammo without going through any special 'drills' or movements or routines or actions like that.  I get myself re-familiarized sufficiently with the pistol to skip cans with it.  Usually takes me less than 50 rounds and the rest are just fun and plinking.  Same thing with my 21A.  

Anyone out there have any special 'drills' they practice with the small to medium bores??  Mikey.

my dad has a beretta i beleive 85cheetah, i forget the number in .380, it is almost 5 years and has maybe a mx of 150 rounds through it, well know i am going too start shooting it, i have 2 ranges to go too, the other ranges wont let me in cause i am only 15, my dad doesnt mind me shooting it cause then it will at least get use, i am shooting that till' i save enough for a carbine, because i am going to reaload for both, well i kinda strayed off but what exactly are these drills for?

dragthewaters:  the purpose of the workout routine is to get to know and understand the functioning of your firearm and to train defensively.  A firm knowledge of the workings of your firearm is essential to safe and accurate handgunning.  The workout routines build competence with that particular handgun that enable you to effectively defend yourself against armed opponents.

The Beretta firearms mentioned in both our posts are medium bore semi auto pistols that may be viewed to lack sufficient power for either one shot deterents or fight stoppers or close quarters combat.  Often, medium bore pistols require two or three shots to stop an aggressive or behaviorally/emotionally out of control assailant.  The purpose of the drills is to establish a routine by which you can defend yourself with the particular firearm you are using.  Mikey.
