Ruger New Model Blackhawk 45 Colt
« on: December 08, 2004, 05:38:21 AM »
In The latest issue of ST "Ruger firearms" in the catalog section. It indicates a single action 45 Colt in additional barrel lenghts of 5.5", 6.6"   in Stainless Steel and adjustable sights. Could this be correct??? As far as I have seen they are not available in those barrel lenghts.
Thanks

the only stainless .45 cal BHs listed in the '04 catalog are one's with a 7 1/2" bbl.  I don't believe they even offer a 6 1/2" 45lc BH - blued or stainless.   Perhaps these you read about are being added for '05.

I bought a new Bisley Blackhawk (Special Edition) from
Joe Wallace
Perkiomen Gunworks
PO Box 175
Perkiomenville, PA  18074
215-234-0900
215-234-2566 (Fax)
gunworks@fast.net

USD 479,-.

It has adj. sights, stainless and 5,5" barrel.  It shoots very, very good.

You can find a picture of it - on Ruger`s web-site if you "click" Special Editon guns.

Sverre A,
small world, I got my  SS Bisley .45 from Joe also. I drove to pick mine up, hes about an hour away from me. Love that gun. Is your location  Norway? How much red tape was involved in a transaction like that?

"Is your location Norway?" Yes
" How much red tape was involved in a transaction like that?"

Not much - because Joe shipped it to

Leroy’s Big Valley Gunworks
PO Box 22
Glasgow, MT, USA 59230

who did all the paperwork for me.

My problem was to be patient enough - because "things takes time".
