Recently while firing my 521T(Remington modestly priced target rifle made in about 1947 ) at the range, all of a sudden the brass would not eject. It was as if the ejector clips would not release. I could remove the brass with my finger. Then as I closed the bolt, bam, I had a slam fire I repeated the same process while pointing the muzzle at the ground. Three more slam fires. I just received my NRA book on Assembly and disassembly. The 521-T is in the book. I am thinking about disassembling the bolt, clean it and look for broken springs.
Where would you start to isolate the problem ?
