I don't know of any unless you get the caliber conversions for like a 223.

The length difference between the 2 is not the only difference, the mag chamber width is different, also.

My question stems from having a revolver that shoots both lr and mags.  But it has a cylinder for each.

Guess Im going to be looking for a 22 mag.

The convertable 22LR/22mag revolvers will have 2 cylinders, and a bore with the diameter for a 22 mag.  22LR is slightly smaller, so you can shoot them through the barrel, but accuracy might suffer a little (but not always).  If you want a rifle that will shoot both, try a NEF Handi-rifle in .22 Mag.  You should still be able to use 22LR ammo.

I am really confused.  If the NEF is chambered for .22 mag how will it safely shoot LR ammo?

The only way I see this working is if the gun has two barrels fitted: one in Mag and one in Long Rifle.

If I am wrong let me know please.

Keith L, You would be right. You will undoudtedly have case ruptures if you go shooting 22lr rounds in a 22mag chamber. I personally don't think too much of the idea of hot gasses hitting me in the face from doing some thing foolish like that.  KN

In looking at the NEF and being a single shot shooter, I am going to purchase a Henry Repeater in 22 Mag.  The NEF looks good but being in Texas Im thinking my single action 22 (LR/Mag) would pair nicely with a repeater.

Plus I contacted Henry with a question and one of the owners responded the next morning.  I have been waiting over 5 years for Beretta to respond to my question about a $2,000 gun I had purchased.  OK.. Im off my soap box.
