Can I fix the leak on my co2 crosman
« on: December 11, 2004, 02:37:08 AM »
I was just given hope. My Crosman 782 Black Diamond works fine except that the co2 powerlet leaks out either instantly or within a few minutes because it doesn't seal properly when I put in a new co2. Is there suppose to be an O-ring or something around the little piercing nipple on the rifle? If not that, is there some other simple fix I can do? The only repair center is outside of the state and not taking new jobs until after the new year. Even then I'm not sure it's worth the money to fix the rifle once you figure packaging, shipping and labor cost. Thanks for any help.

Yes, there supposed to be an end seal around the piercing pin. Those guns are easy to work on, and get parts for. Parts are available right from Crosman. If you need schemetics and/or a parts list to order from, send me an e-mail and I'll send them to you.

Dave, for some reason I can't send you an e-mail through the forum. I would however like any info you can send me to end my little 782's co2 feeding frenzy. My e-mail is mikle76@earthlink.net. Thank you.

Hey Dave, any chance you have that schematic and/or parts list for a Crosman 2200?  I have one that my dad oiled the heck out of and it doesn't hold air anymore.  I'd like to put it back into service if I can.
