If you're wondering why you can't get an answer from VVCG. Sent an e-mail to find out the status of my forend, got the following:
"We will be closed the entire week of January 26th thru Feb 3rd. We are attending (and have a booth) in the Safari Club International show in Reno, NV.
"Due to the high volume of e-mails I receive each day it is unlikely that I will be able to respond to very many e-mails received during my absence. If you would be so kind as to re-email me after February 3rd I would appreciate it.
"Thank you for your patience while we are gone and I will look forward to hearing from you in February.
