after calibrating,and putting the powder catcher back on the scale it reads 115.1.after loading around 5-10 shells it will jump up to 115.3-115.9, i know thw room temperature will affect it,but will this affect the actual powder charge?

Yes, an error of .8 of a grain will be reflected in your powder charges. Whether it will affect your accuracy or pressure will depend on your rifle and how close to maximum loads you are using.

josebd, Are you turning on your scale and immediately starting to use it? If so you probably need to start turning it on and letting it normalize to the environment for 15-20 minuets before you start. The heat generated by the unit is enough to cause it to "drift" so to speak. My dillon will do this. Charges will drift a tenth or so every several throws until it warms up and stabilizes. You just need to let it set with it turned on for a while before you calibrate it. KN

One other thing that will effect your scale is using it on the same circuit with things such as freezers, refrigerators, etc.!!! I have started using the battery power option.

i think the problem was i had some electric heaters going while i was reloading,i unplugged them and my scale does not fluctuate now,thanks for the help guys!

is there anything i can use with the scale and dispenser that will keep the voltage at a constant rate? maybe a surge protector??
