This is the bow I'm gettin for CHRISTmas. Cabelas had the bow, PSE sight, quiver, arrowrest, sling, stabilizer and 4 PSE Carbon Force arrows for $299. I made sure to get the broadheads and stuff too. Has anybody shot this bow before? I'm a newbie so ne info would be nice. Thanx!  :D

:D  Hey Fishman,   My current hunting bow is a Fire-flite 33 AC, the L3 I believe is the same bow with a different cam.  I think you'll be pleased with this bow, It has a pretty long brace height which helps to make it more forgiving, good choice since you say you're a newbie. The only thing I didn't like about this bow was the grip.  If you can't get consistent groups try removing the grip and shooting without it.   Overall it's a pretty smooth shooting and Quiet little bow.  I bought mine from Cabelas last summer and I've taken 3 deer with it since.    Good luck and Merry CHRISTmas

You know what I found weird? I couldn't find the bow on PSE's website  :? . Did your grip have screws in it? On the one I'm looking at it's either held on w/ an adhesive or the screws are not shown. Thanx for ur input!  :D

The fire-flite is a Cabela's exclusive. I'm pretty sure you won't find it any where else.   The grip on mine was glued on but it came off pretty easily.  I smoothed the edges of the riser handle on mine with a file and put a piece of leather on it.  I own a Matthews MQ1 but my son is shooting it now .  For me the Fire-flite shoots just as good as the Matthews, if it didn't  believe me I wouldn't have given up the MQ1, because it's about as smooth as they get.

When I finally got to look at my new bow on CHRISTmas boy oh boy I felt like a lil kid again. Looks just as good as my friend's Mathews (uh oh...hope he never hears that  ). The only thing that bit was that the bow was not set up. Just came w/ the stuff in it's packages. And since I don't know didly squat about bows, after much struggle, I was only able to set up the sight, quiver, stabilizer, and the wrist sling, the simple stuff. But the peep sight, the arrow rest, and the nocking loop I'm taking to my friend (who owns a bow shop) and he'll do the rest. Other than that the bow is fantastic!  :D
