Hi! I acquired a Spanish made .54 cal. CVA Hawken barrel from a relative, I called CVA to order the stock and hardware to finish the gun but they don't make them for a .54 cal anymore. Anyone out there have a stock and hardware for a .54 or .58 cal. (1" barrel side to side) they want to sell?
Or how about making me on good deal on your .58 cal. CVA caplock that is gathering dust? Thanks for looking.

The barrel stamping shows ".54 cal Spain Hawken". The serial number is iffy, it shows a 37 416538 (The first digit may also be an 8, it isn't clear)
There is also what may be a proofing 700kp/cm squared G*2

for what its worth. these are inexpensive barrels and dont deserve a whole lot of work or atttention.. they may, upon occasion, shoot better than a match barrel but i doubt it.. they may be slug barrel, conical barrel, round ball barrel, etc etc... its fun to make something out of nothing, but the latter us usually the finished product.. if your a professional gunbuilder or advanced hobiest in this matter. and have adressed all of these problems then excuse my comments and i appologise.. useually advanced builders look for high quality rather than good deals after having all of the good deals that they can afford... ... dave.
