Mac-
In the whole, speaking of Righteousness, The Lord God, and his Word I must agree with you. Some day we will see this government, believers that is.
It is also true that not everybody is, will be, or if you will excuse the thought, can be.
While it is difficult to do so, in the context of this world, and, particularly, this democracy we have or, that has been establised for us, we have a need to defend rights. One cannot have liberty without granting liberty is a trite thought, filled with holes, and in it's best context not complete. It is however the best we can come up with.
In theory, we can be strong enough to stand against evil, see the right and wrong ( moral right and wrong ) and defend against it. This human nature that we are talking about here is a Satan led attack. If we are a Godly people we will stand against it.
Now, we are not a Godly people, we are a worldly people, we want things our way.
Government speaking, we are committed to free speech and free thought and are obliged to defend this idea. It is fraught with peril, this free thought and free speech, yet as Christians we need it in order to speak the truth of the Lord and help lead them from darkness to light.
It is a mess aint it, and while we decry their agenda and espouse the Lord we are giving way too the darkness.
Seems as though the Lord said so, he also said it would not be easy.
Now, in the conversation here, must we not separate, our religious thought from a secular thought in order to preserve our rights as Christians to have religious thoughts.
Have no fear, it will come out as he has said it would, we must be willing to rescue as many of the shipwrecked as we can.
Blessings
Ps
There are a lot of holes we cannot fill with the limited mind we have, we are, however, committed to helping the lost out of these holes, we ourownselves have dug.
