All you really need is a white bed sheet, paint lines like the boughten stuff with some black spray paint. Cut a hole in the middle for his/her head to go thru. If your kid has warm clothes already the sheet will work fine kidy going over the top. People have done it around here for years. If you have to walk a ways just put a belt around him at the waist.
