For those that don't cast boolits
« on: December 17, 2004, 05:23:07 AM »
This is more directed to the owners of the Buffalo Classic 45-70.

The first bullet that I started shooting in the Buffalo Classic was from a Lee .458-405-HB mold which I had received from a friend.  I got very good accuracy with it loaded with BP or smokeless because it was a hollow base bullet design.  I can provide my 200 yard Buffalo target for those wanting to see what I'm talking about.

Well for those that don't cast these are available at Midway and are made by Montana Precision Swaging and are great because they are already lube with SPG lube for BP use.

They are on back order right now, but should be available in the future.

Many BPCR shooters use nothing but Montana Precision Swaging bullets that are pure lead bullets swaged from lead rope because they work great.  You will notice by checking all the rest of the Montana Precision Swaged bullets that many designs in the heavier weights are out of stock on back order and this is why.   They have every kind needed, including swaged bullets for paper patching.

If you want great accuracy results from your Buffalo Classic rifles you owe yourself a favor to at least give these a try.

I just thought I would pass this one along.
