What are the manufacturers stamp(s) & caliber marking(s) on the barrel?
Just because it is a M1885 (AKA High Wall) barrel, doesn't necessarily mean that it is a Winchester caliber. Youll need to a chamber cast to find out for sure. It could have been re-bore or relined over the years or it may have started out--if it is a M1885 barrel--as a special order caliber. @ one time, Winchester would build anything as long as the buyer had the money.
