I was looking around in the new Sportsmans Warehouse in Sioux Falls SD today. They had two new B. C.'s One was 35-55 the ither a 45-70. The 38-55 had a shorter barrel than the 45-70 but longer than the Handi rifles. I had never seen the mid length barrel. I put the 45-70 on their layaway. I have wanted it for years and I really liked the wood on this one. Will soon be looking for loads for itt
shot placement is everything.

" Will soon be looking for loads for it"  Sorry James ...but there are no more loads available for the 45-70...... :-D   Fortunately ya picked a caliber that there is more loading combinations  for than you will ever be able to try! Do a serch on the site and you will come up with a "few" :D .... And congratulations!!

Welcome aboard, here is the First Buffalo Classic and Target Model Web Site that I created back in 1996 because there was no online informaton available at that time for the Buffalo Classic Rifle in 45-70 or the Target Model in 38-55.

You can search through the differant postings for the Buffalo Classic and find out many things here.
