Whats' everyones choice?. I want to lesson the felt recoil on my poor old shoulder. Which ones and why?

Limbsaver... screws right on in place of the orginal.  If you want to add length to the stock, the medium slip on is probably the right size.

I put the pre fit limsaver on my  laminated boyd stock.  Pretty decent fit and really works good.

one more vote for limbsaver....have one on my Encore and on my Rem 700bdl 300 win mag. great product....

I have a Decelerator on a black synthetic that works very well.  However I would also vote for a Limbsaver as I have used thier slip on pads and they work very well.

the fact that the sims limbsaver comes custom fit makes a big difference.wouldn't want to booggger up my stock grindin' one down so it fit nice.i like the limbsaver.i shoot some pretty big stuff outta my encore,50 alaskan,12 gauge magnum slugs etc.the limbsaver makes them a little more comfy.shawn

Now that most would agree that the LS pad is best, where is the best place to get one. They were 35 bucks at Bass Pro. Any place online cheaper.

i like the sims and just put one on my new thumbhole stock for my encoreworks like a charm man and well worth the money spent. if your using a stock encore stock they have prefit sims recoil pads the synthetic number is 10031 and the wood stock is 1003o if your doing a new stock it will probably take a geind and fit style
