:biggun: how do you guys install sling studs on the rubber grip and forearm of the encore?
i screw into the wood of walnut grips, and into the front forearm screw hole of the forearm. :D

I drilled through the grip cap and used a bolt type stud with a nut on the back, for the grip. You may want to use longer and/or larger grip cap screws to prevent pullout. On the forearm you could  try drill through and countersink the back (barrel side) so the nut does not contact the barrel. I did this on one of my wood forestocks.
Just another worthless opinion!!

I doubt the front rubber forarm would be suitable for a stud. You might figure out how to get one in, but your risking the chance of droping the gun if it ever pulls through. If its cosmetics that have you using the rubber forarm, I sugest you find a wood one and get a can of black/dark grey textured paint, and paint it to match the rubber grip. I did this on some forarms that I custom made and they really looked good. Got the paint at Home Depot, Don't remember exactly what it was called but it was kind of a grannite finish stuff that had a little bit of white specks in it. This stuff turned out to be really durable too. Just a sugestion,  KN
