what should i plan on spending  on a g2 pistol plane jane hunting side arm  im wondering if its worth the cost  i have a 223 in bull barel rifle  but  hike to a lot of spots trapping  and carry a 22 rifle  +gear  i need to cut down the  to many things to carry  and still be able to set up and call or spend a few hours deer  hunting

Pistol G2 frame with grip and forend $265 Plus cost of barrel. You can get a good used contender barrel from $150 to $175. Hope, this will give you a data point.
